This video showcases how Arendal Upper Secondary School in Norway transformed a former parking lot into an attractive outdoor space for students and staff. Developed through a participatory process involving students, staff and neighbours, the redesigned schoolyard offers new opportunities for recreation, social interaction and outdoor learning.
The initiative contributes to JA PreventNCD's work on evaluating car-free areas and creating healthier living environments.
