JA PreventNCD is now accepting applications for the Youth Advisory Group (YAG) 2026 Cohort. We are looking for 30–40 young people aged 18–35 from across Europe to help bring youth perspectives into our work on preventing cancer and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
The Youth Advisory Group ensures that prevention efforts remain connected to the realities, needs, and priorities of younger generations. By sharing ideas and recommendations, YAG members help strengthen how policies and strategies are shaped, communicated, and implemented across Europe.
Who can apply?
We welcome applications from young people across Europe, including:
- Individuals aged 18–35
- Representatives of youth organisations
- People from diverse backgrounds, genders, ethnicities, and regions
No previous knowledge or experience in the health field is required. If you have an interest in your own health and the wellbeing of communities, you are warmly invited to apply.
What does the Youth Advisory Group do?
YAG members contribute by:
- Sharing youth perspectives on prevention topics relevant to JA PreventNCD
- Providing feedback and recommendations that help guide project activities
- Helping ensure that solutions are meaningful and effective for young people
How to apply
The application includes two parts:
- A written application
- A short video statement
Please plan enough time to complete both elements. Late submissions cannot be considered.
Deadline
23 December 2025, 23:59 CET

Short-listed applicants will be invited for a brief interview, expected to take place at the end of December or in early to mid-January. The selection will be finalised by the end of January 2026, followed by the official appointment of the 2026 Youth Advisory Group.
