About the event

The 2028–2034 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) will determine the EU’s spending priorities for seven years. This discussion will bring together MEPs, European Commission and Member State representatives, and public health stakeholders to explore how prevention and health equity can secure a stronger place in that budget.

The event builds on the JA PreventNCD position paper on EU funding for health promotion and NCD prevention, which calls for clear, adequate funding and long-term investment in prevention capacity.
