JA PreventNCD Executive Committee 4th in-person meeting 2025
- 09:00 - 17:00
- Meeting
- Brussels, Belgium

This 4th in-person JA PreventNCD Executive Committee (ExCo) meeting is taking place in Brussels, Belgium 6-7th November 2025. As we approach half-way during the four-year period of the project and demonstrated both by the M16 report submitted to HaDEA and the 2nd Annual Meeting in Katowice in June, the project is well-established, and activities are - for the most part – progressing according to plan.
At the same time, the size of the project tends to blur how we will be able to achieve the overall objectives and arrive at joint, key outcomes that will produce widespread and lasting impact, as expressed by the EEAB.
Thus, this in-person ExCo meeting is an excellent opportunity to have a strategic discussion around three main questions:
-
What are the ‘core outcomes’ across WPs that are likely to create impact and therefore should have top priority? How do we aggregate results and experiences from literature reviews and smaller pilots to make pathways for strong policy recommendations and implementation? What are the strong narratives to tell?
-
How can strategic resource allocation support the process of prioritizing core outcomes? Based on current overall aim, objectives and budgets, as well as proposals for strategic reallocation and new revised EU policy priorities (i.e., the CVD Plan) what are the ExCo recommendations for budget revisions to the General Assembly?
-
How should the articulated priorities be reflected in the planning of future collaboration and publications, notably scientific publications, policy briefs, and in a Health Promotion and NCD Prevention Policy Framework? Do we need to foster new joint efforts within the consortium and with outside actors? If so, can these new initiatives be regarded as ‘foreseen’ in our GA, or do they require an amendment?
A summary from the meeting will be shared in our news section after the meeting in November– stay tuned!
