The fifth in-person JA PreventNCD Executive Committee (ExCo) meeting is taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark on 5th of March 2025.
This meeting takes place as the project is now beyond the halfway point of the four-year project period. By bringing together the JA PreventNCD ExCo members and the project’s Thematic Coordinators in this in-person meeting, the meeting aims to:

review progress to date,

align on strategic priorities for the next phase,

and ensure that key outputs and outcomes are on track to deliver the project’s objectives.
It will also provide an opportunity to discuss upcoming reporting requirements, stakeholder engagement, and preparations for major events in 2026.

The Executive Committee (ExCo) is the delegate body of the General Assembly (GA) for day-to-day scientific and technical coordination, and consists of the Project Coordinator, Scientific Coordinator, the Coordinator's Project manager, Work Package leaders and their co-leaders. The ExCo has monthly meetings and two in-person meetings each year. The ExCo meetings are chaired by the Scientific Coordinator and the Project Coordinator, and the committee is responsible for carrying out executive decisions, and actions that do not require the approval of the GA.
